We had a nice morning with Carol, mostly trying to find all options around the Mayport Ferry, which I had hoped would be open but is not. We were not excited about riding through the gigantic, sparsely bridged city of Jacksonville. We eventually accepted a neighbor’s offer to put the bikes on their rack drive us across the interstate bridge. We have crossed into Georgia and stopped for the day in Homeland.
Wow, back home in GA!!! It has been quite a long almost circular journey. Still have miles to go to Atlanta but how amazing to have done what you have in less than a year ( close). The treasure of doing these last 700 miles together with your dad… Priceless! For both of you!!
