We were not excited about riding through the gigantic, sparsely bridged city of Jacksonville. We eventually accepted a neighbor’s offer to put the bikes on their rack drive us across the interstate bridge. We have crossed into Georgia and stopped for the day in Homeland.
After most of a day in Saint Augustine, we pushed ourselves up the way to Atlantic Beach, where we are visiting a friend (specifically the mother of a friend of my parents since college) who is excited to have us.

We spent most of the afternoon at the Kennedy Space Center, though with more time could probably have filled days there. Left when they kicked us out and pushed on in the dark to the edge of Titusville.
A long day wandering up the coast, saw dolphins, sharks, and many other creatures- from a distance. Stopped in Satellite Beach, perhaps pushing a little too far at the end of the day to get here… Tomorrow is tomorrow, we’ll worry about it then.
We met characters everywhere we stopped, and along with a detour to visit some family it was a somewhat slow but quite social day. We find ourselves now in Fort Pierce for the night
